Zarzaur Law, P.A., an award-winning personal injury law firm based in Pensacola, Florida, is proud to announce that they will once again be the presenting sponsor of the The Zarzaur Law Maritime De Luna Youth Duathlon. This youth multi-sport race will be held on Sunday, March 17.
This race has more than 200 participants, from ages 6-15 years old.
The event is held at the Vince J. Whibbs, Sr. Community Maritime Park in Pensacola, Florida. The event features a full duathlon experience for children from 6 to 15 years old while friends and family cheer them on. With a fully supported event on a closed course, safety and encouragement from volunteers complement the excitement of children becoming multi-sport athletes.
This is a fully timed event and each athlete receives a custom medal and t-shirt for completing the race. Custom age group awards are given for 1st, 2nd, and 3rd in each age group.
What is a Duathlon?
A duathlon is a competition that is composed of running and biking. The usual format for a duathlon is run-bike-run, meaning you start with a run, then transition to the bike, then transition back to running again. Your time starts when you start the race, and finishes when you cross the finish line.

Since 2013, Tri Gulf Coast Triathlon Club has put on two youth multisport events. We pride ourselves in providing premiere youth events that have exciting race venues. Our attention to detail make for a memorable experience for athletes between 6yrs and 15 years old.
The Zarzaur Law Maritime de Luna Du Youth Duathlon is the first of two events in the TriGulfCoast Youth Multisport Series. The De Luna Du Youth Duathlon is held in early March at Pensacola’s Community Maritime Park. The race offers a scenic run-bike-run course for kids ages 6 to 15 (as of December 31 in the year of the event).
The Zarzaur Law Sea Turtle Youth Triathlon is held on the beautiful Gulf of Mexico in Pensacola Beach, Florida. The event features a full triathlon experience for children from 7 to 15 years old while friends and family cheer them on. With a fully supported event on a closed course, safety and encouragement from volunteers complement the excitement of children becoming triathletes
