PENSACOLA, Fla. (Oct. 3, 2025) — In February 2025, Zarzaur Law’s client alleges that four employees at Baptist Hospital in Jay, Florida, entered multiple patient rooms late at night while the patients were asleep or under medication and took unflattering and unauthorized photos of patients later described by hospital administration as “horrible.”
Allegedly, these images were then posted on social media, specifically Snapchat. Following the incident, allegations are that Baptist Hospital approached the affected families and patients, seeking signatures on releases that included non-disclosure statements in exchange for monetary settlements. However, the hospital refused to show the content of the photographs to those affected and refused to provide any other details other than to say that the photos were “horrible.”
The allegations include that this incident was not formally addressed by the hospital until just weeks ago, several months after the social media posts. Zarzaur Law, P.A. has the honor of representing one of the victims of this disturbing incident.
