Zarzaur Law, P.A. Establishes Endowed Scholarship

Spring Hill College announces its partnership with Zarzaur Law, P.A. of Pensacola, Florida to establish a generous scholarship for deserving students seeking a transformational Jesuit education. The scholarship is specifically designated for student-leaders entering their junior year at Spring Hill. Zarzaur Law, P.A.’s investment of $30,000 provides support for current students as well as an endowment that will allow the scholarship to grow and serve students in perpetuity.

Joe Zarzaur, a 1993 graduate of the Spring Hill College, is an AV-rated, board-certified civil trial specialist. He credits Spring Hill College with preparing him for a prolific career as a plaintiff personal injury trial lawyer. Additionally, Zarzaur’s firm is a Hill Top sponsor – the highest level of sponsorship – for the College’s annual Homecoming on The Hill celebration.

Spring Hill College President Christopher P. Puto, PhD, said, “Alumni like Joe Zarzaur are profoundly important to the ongoing success of the College. The Zarzaur Law, P.A. Endowed Scholarship provides opportunities for young men and women to pursue an outstanding educational experience on The Hill. Zarzaur’s support of Homecoming on The Hill brings this experience full circle as we honor and celebrate the friendships, education and vocations that alumni formed as students at Spring Hill College.”

Founded in 1830, Spring Hill College is the oldest Catholic college in the Southeast and the third-oldest Jesuit college in the United States. Spring Hill combines the Jesuit tradition of excellence in education and a commitment to caring for the whole person – mind, body and spirit – with innovative educational experiences. Located in Mobile, Ala., Spring Hill’s mission is to form leaders engaged in learning, faith, justice and service for life. As a result, Spring Hill students are engaged, inspired and transformed by their experiences.
